Calling for sketches/designs

Alright. Now that we've got a rough script in the works, I'd like the layout and character designers to start brainstorming ideas and create some sketches. As we don't have a specific style decided, these are simply inspirational.

Character Designers (Chris Morin, Naseer Pasha, Kevin Cato, Dale Watson, Ramone Johnson, Tenzin Chime)
  1. Jewels
  2. Ziq
  3. Girlfriend
  4. Bogdan
  5. Newscasters
  6. Dictator
  7. Jewels' family

If people need references to bounce ideas (uniforms, government portraits, dollar bills), make a comment here and I'll reply with some links.

Background Artists (Vanessa Vidakovic, Joseph Ng, Tenzin Chime, Guiseppe Arabia, Mark Conmigo)

  1. Jewels' Apartment
  2. Alleyway
  3. Parliament
  4. Graveyard with trees nearby

With Jewel's apartment, there are specific things that need to be included (telephone, TV, hallway, bathroom). Again, if anyone needs references to bounce ideas off of, make a comment here and I'll see what I can do.

Also, I'd like us to think of ideas for the graffiti that Jewels is going to spray in parliament.
Personally, I think it'd be a cool idea to do something like Banksy.

Another! With feeling!

First of all, a big thank you to fellow classmate, Vanesa for contributing.

Here's 2 videos that she liked and a description of why.

"Harry Potter" The Tale of the Three Brothers
I just thought this video had a really cool mood to it. I like the use of silhouettes like if we were doing a memory or something. I think at around 2:00 there's a part that looks like it was done in flash. And the layout at the ending seems pretty neat too. Anyways just a starter :)

"Alice: The Madness Returns" Opening Cut Scene

I know we probably won't be doing this style but i like the clocks/music/mood at the beginning. Also, they way she was talking about her memories and at around 1:04 there's like a black boarder that blinks as if you're seeing the memories from her eyes.
