Colour keys from "A Monster in Paris"

Hello guys!

Here to upload some examples that illustrate my idea of conveying mood with the color scheme.
All of these were done by Aurelien Predal.

A very sombre mood compared to below.

As you can see, the artist is aware of how many colors he uses and the saturation.

More nice examples.

We could probably use these schemes for the "real time" sequence with the usage of browns and the neutral color temperature .

On a final note. I liked how the artist used only two colors in some keys.

Notice that they're opposites. Blue and yellow. Cold and warm. Maybe we could put this to use?

The Cat Piano

So as a reference in tone, a few group members wanted us to look at this animation called "The Cat Piano".

It's overall fairly dark, but I think our approach will lean mostly towards the style and the general mood of this animation

Opening Statement

So for our "Animation Application" class in the Animation program at Seneca@York, we are to create a cartoon. Long story short, we'll be using this blog to post our roles and job, scripts, concepts, ideas, references, etc, etc.
